Show is primarily a drama, and the action whenever present was not fulfilling. And ultimately its about two girls falling in love which is not something that I can naturally empathize with so the ending was again unfulfilling.

And the drama is just forced upon us. It was too heavy for the framework they had created. It does not have the grandness of something like Game of Thrones, so it felt weird and tiresome.

I really liked this one, though I wouldn't qualify it as a pure Yuri or pure Isekai. It's more of a very well-made concoction that mixes a lot of different elements, as some recommenders have explained. It's true, both the Yuri and the Isekai aspects only appear towards the end, but I actually like that, as it feels they're "earned" after seeing both of these memorable girls grow as people and as human beings, especially the Yuri part. It feels deserved after so much strife and storytelling, and the way it is unraveled, though brief, is very emotional, very sweet and simply put, very wholesome. Regarding the story itself, it has a bit of everything. Comedy, politics, drama, fighting scenes. Nothing special but also quite watchable.

Overall, I really enjoyed this! Recommended for general audiences.

This series had a bit of everything... adventure, politics and romance. The characters were fine, although the villain was over-the-top. Even though this had multiple storylines, it was alright... I would have preferred one over arcing storyline. If you're in the mood for an isekai that is different than the norm, check this out.

The MAKE or BREAK of this one is the MAIN CHARACTER!

It has good animation, great setting, and likeable characters. However, the MC will dictate if you'll like this one or not. Yuri sounds cool, but there really isn't much of it in this series, so I'd recommend going elsewhere for a better Yuri story.

It had GOOD animation, cool concepts, fluid pacing, everything was decent, minus one thing!

If you can stomach the MC, definitely give this a go. Not the best isekai this season, however, if you're craving some more isekai, I wouldn't sleep on it.

Good things: storytelling, premise, motivation, animation
Bad things: execution, storytelling

Yes, storytelling is good and bad at the same time. I could predict the ending from episode 1, I know for animes of this genre it is typical to be easy on story and plot, but this one stands on its own. The story is not consistent, or perhaps is rushed. I have a feeling of looking at 2 arcs that were pressed together in 12 episodes, where first 6 were truly interesting. Moreover, I have a feeling that this anime is trying to deliver too many of sublime messages (which could also be my paranoia). For the good things, animation is top notch alongside of very-well chosen seiyuus.

Started off very silly and light hearted. Then they added depth and some ugliness. The series is well crafted, with the characters having motivations that aren't shallow or pointless. There's humor, pain, and a few twists along the way. I was quite pleased with how this series was executed, and it definitely stands on its own feet rather than just stealing from another series (although the isekai thing is in huge demand). Though in a small regard I felt a similarity to Knights and Magic - both in terms of the obsessed main character and the mentality of bringing something new to the world.

Worth the watch.

A strong & non-monolithic series. The main characters are the main selling point, they are the type to be strong enough to stay good in a frustrating world. Above all, the plot actually moves nicely with good strong climax(es).

Despite the typical shallowness you'd expect, it managed to touch topics like dreams, ambitions, POV of the untalented vs talented, and general relationship. I shed some tears.

Overall a fantasy series with surprising depth and noticeable (but subtle) isekai aspect that got embedded into the main character's personality. And in the end, just when you thought things get a bit too "silly", they prepared you with a totally well thought-out answer.
